RBT ABA CATANIA COURSE

This edition of the Behavior Technician course is taught by the teachers:

CAA COURSE

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is the term used to describe all communication methods that can facilitate and improve the communication of all people who have difficulty using the most common communication channels, especially oral language and writing.

 

 

In order to allow everyone the opportunity to communicate, it becomes essential to train professional figures who will become communication facilitators.

 

 

During the online lessons (Zoom platform) practical exercises are planned, through participatory training awareness will be promoted in the learning processes and change practices of the learners.

 

 

Documentation including handouts, bibliographical and normative references will be provided.

PECS - PRIMO LIVELLO COURSE

Symbol Exchange Communication System (PECS) was developed in 1985 as an augmentative and alternative communication system for people with DSA and communication-related disorders.

 

 

PECS was first applied in the Delaware Autistic Program and is recognized worldwide for focusing on the initiation component and 
spontaneity of communication.

 

 

PECS does not require complex or expensive materials. 
It was created by educators and designed to be used in public services and in families and currently different environments are used.

LIS
SIMPLIFIED ITALIAN LANGUAGE

LIS -Italian Sign Language 
Sign Language is the visual-gestural language that is used by deaf people to communicate both with each other and with the hearing, linguistic research shows that LIS is a language in all respects capable of expressing content like all other marked and vocal languages.

 

 

The course intends to provide the fundamental knowledge to deal with situations of deafness at school, for educators in the community, for education professionals with their users, to implement communication and inclusion strategies, whose work is carried out in a team with support teachers, the teaching staff, parents, specialists who follow minors.

 

 

At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued, recognized by the MIUR pursuant to Directive 170/2016, for those who have attended at least 75% of the course.
