C.A.A.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is the term used to describe all communication methods that can facilitate and improve the communication of all people who have difficulty using the most common communication channels, especially oral language and writing.
It is defined as augmentative because it does not replace but increases the person's natural communication possibilities.
It is defined as an alternative because it uses alternative and different communication methods from traditional ones.
