Toolkit for youth workers
Following the analysis of the interviews and the focus group discussions, it was concluded that 10 areas were identified that require further exploration and are most relevant for improving the social entrepreneurship of young people and young people with disabilities. These are: team building, communication skills, leadership, social intelligence, digital skills, negotiation, patience, empathy, being well organized, and how to overcome stress.
Each section includes a theoretical and a practical part.
The partners then sent an evaluation questionnaire to the youth workers who tested the first version of the Toolkit. After collecting feedback, appropriate changes were made.
The overall evaluation of the Toolkit was positive and the youth workers found the sections to be useful tools for entering the labor market and facing it.
Policy recommendations to improve the social and work inclusion of young people and young people with disabilities in order to leverage social entrepreneurship and the resources of the tourism value chain
With the specific objective of:
- improving joint solutions to address common challenges related to social and work inclusion;
- leveraging social entrepreneurship and the resources of the tourism value chain;
- promoting awareness of the importance of creating useful and adequate tools;
- creating an environment suitable for the transfer and sustainability of the project.
The policy recommendations are addressed to institutions at the local, regional, national, EU, Western Balkans, and non-EU country levels that are actively working for the social and work inclusion of young people and young people with disabilities.
