The Controvento house is home to the Yes Weekend project, which offers young people and adults with disabilities the opportunity to learn and experience domestic autonomy and life outside the home.

The Controvento house is home to the Yes Weekend project, which offers young people and adults with disabilities the opportunity to learn and experience domestic autonomy and life outside the home.
The house is also intended, for short periods, to accommodate adults or adolescents with disabilities and intellectual developmental disorders.
Project objectives
The objectives of the project are as follows:
Create innovative pathways for independent living and for people with disabilities with the active involvement of families
Promote the gradual deinstitutionalization of people with disabilities hospitalized in high-intensity healthcare facilities, in collaboration with the Multidimensional Assessment Units of the ASL Companies, also in order to contain the high costs of healthcare hospitalization and progressively redirect spending towards more sustainable “After Us” solutions with a better quality of life;
Train new system professionals, specialized in the design and implementation of integrated housing solution pathways for people with disabilities;
Train and enhance the subjects of volunteering, as subjects of active citizenship, through the transfer of abilities and social skills aimed at conscious solidarity in the specific area of micro-residentiality
